For Cake

- 1 pack White Wings Red Velvet Cake
- 2 (59g) eggs
- 190mL (¾ cup) milk
- 80mL (⅓ cup) vegetable oil
|
For Frosting
|
- 50mL (2 ½ Tbsp) milk
- 20g (1 Tbsp) margarine spread or soft butter
|
- Preparation time: 10 mins
- Cooking time: 40-45 mins
- Serves: 12

Preheat
Preheat oven to 180ºC conventional or 160ºC fan-forced. Grease a 6cm deep x 20cm round cake pan. Line the base with baking paper. |

Mix
Place the cake mix, eggs, milk and oil into a medium mixing bowl. Using electric mixer beat on low speed for 30 seconds to combine. Increase speed to medium and mix for 2 minutes, scraping down sides of bowl occasionally. Pour mixture into prepared pan. |

Bake
Bake for 40 - 45 minutes† or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Stand for 5 minutes in pan before turning onto a wire rack to cool.
† Time may vary depending on oven.

Frosting
Combine frosting mix, milk and margarine or soft butter (not melted) in a small mixing bowl. Using electric mixer beat on low speed for 30 seconds to combine. Increase speed to high and mix for 3 minutes, scraping down sides of bowl occasionally. Spread over the cooled cake. |
